Goldsboro's inspections department recently released its latest round of permit numbers for August.
A total of 264 permits were issued throughout the month, carrying a total valuation of $11,994,589.
The 264 permits issued brought in $50,950.57 of revenue for the city, collected through permit fees. This money goes back into the city's general fund, which is then budgeted out for city operations.
A permit issued for a single family dwelling at 102 Christopher Allen Drive, carried the highest valuation at $198,750.
The inspections department also completed 58 plan reviews for commercial buildings, ABC permits and mobile homes. All miscellaneous permits issued for plumbing and mechanical systems throughout the city were valued at $3,901,028.
