MOUNT OLIVE -- The University of Mount Olive's fifth annual Sing for Another Day benefit concert to raise money for Southeastern Cancer Care is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in Southern Bank Auditorium in the Raper Building.
The concert will include performances by University of Mount Olive students, faculty, staff, and alumni who would like to exhibit their talents while raising money for a worthy cause.
The event is organized by Sisterhood of Crown and Martlet (SOCAM), a University of Mount Olive student service group.
Last year, more than $700 was raised for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
SOCAM will also sell Cures for the Colors T-shirts for $10 before and during the concert.
All proceeds will go to Southeastern Cancer Care, a local non-profit organization that benefits eastern North Carolina cancer patients and their families.

The concert will be free, but donations will be accepted.
