A warrantless search of the residence of a Goldsboro man on probation turned up evidence of drug trafficking on Tuesday.
Joshua Shaw, 23, 315 E. Walnut St., is charged with trafficking opium or heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond.
According to a press release, The Goldsboro Police Department assisted the N.C. Department of Probation and Parole with a search of a probationer Tuesday. During the search, 11 dosage units of hydrocodone were discovered along with six grams of black tar heroin.
