Benefit concert slated for Sunday

A gospel concert to benefit Robyn Wade, who is suffering from brain and lung cancer, will be held Sunday, Sept. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at the Bear Creek Headquarters at 1800 S. Slocumb St.
The concert will feature the Jimmy Mumford Singers, who have reunited after 30 years for this event. Other participants include the Rev. Timothy Dortch, Wade Durham III, the Rev. Alva Carlisle McGowan and Kevin Alston and Family.
