The Goldsboro Police Department says it has identified the man a local woman said she twice caught exposing himself in public.
Larry Lewis McLaurin Jr., 38, is charged with two counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure and was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $1,500 secured bond. His first appearance has been set for Aug. 12.
On Wednesday around 3 p.m., the witness reported to police that a black male had exposed himself to her in Herman Park.
The victim reported that the man was sitting in his vehicle and was attempting to talk to her, which is when she noticed that the man was exposing himself.
She wrote his vehicle information down and told police that she had also witnessed the man exposing himself in the parking lot of Women's Only Fitness at 2513 E. Ash St. on June 12.
Police are investigating several similar incidents that have occurred outside local businesses recently.
"We are looking for other victims. Unfortunately, this is only a misdemeanor and we were only able to charge him with two counts," Carmon said. "We are looking for people with additional information to come forward."
Anyone with information regarding the events is asked to contact Investigator Adams at 919-580-4243.
