City man charged in B&E cases

A Goldsboro man has been charged in connection with several breaking and entering cases across the city.
Antonio McDuffie, 48, of 315 E. Walnut St., was arrested around 3 a.m. Friday by the Goldsboro Police Department and charged with 12 felonies and eight misdemeanors.
Investigators sought McDuffie in connection with thefts at homes in the 1700 block of East Mulberry Street, the 300 block of North Randolph Street and the 1100 block of East Mulberry Street.
Following his arrest, McDuffie was placed under a $100,000 secured bond in the Wayne County Jail.
McDuffie was charged with the following, and is expected to have more charges brought against him in the coming days: six counts of felony breaking and/or entering motor vehicles; three counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense; one count of felony possession of stolen goods; three counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods; one count of felony larceny; four counts of misdemeanor larceny; one count of felony financial transaction card theft; and one count of misdemeanor financial transaction card fraud.
