An argument in the parking lot of the Wayne Memorial Drive Waffle House early this morning resulted in shots being fired into a vehicle.
No one was injured and one man is in custody, according to a Goldsboro Police report.
Rashawn Shareef Pridgen, 28, 110 Pridgen Lane in LaGrange, is charged with firing into an occupied vehicle. He is being held in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
According to the report, Pridgen argued with another man, Reteva Jones, 23, of Goldsboro, and pulled out a gun. Pridgen then opened fire, striking Jones' 2012 Honda Civic while Jones was in it.
Pridgen was then stopped by police while driving away from the scene at a high rate of speed. Pridgen is scheduled to appear in Wayne County District Court later today.
