Kids Fun Day will be Saturday downtown

The Optimist Club of Goldsboro is sponsoring a Kids Fun Day on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Commons at the intersection of Center and Chestnut streets.
The event aims to give children who have just gotten out of school a chance to celebrate. There will be free activities, entertainment and food.
Children must be accompanied by at least one parent or responsible adult.
Native American dancers, a giant slide and a water sprinkler are part of the activities planned.
