40 inducted into WCC honor society

Wayne Community College's Upsilon Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, inducted 40 new members recently.
Phi Theta Kappa members represent the top 10 percent of students enrolled in two-year schools. To be invited into the society, WCC students must show academic achievement with a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and have completed at least 16 hours of associate degree course work. They also must demonstrate good citizenship characteristics.
The spring 2015 inductees include
Evelyn Avila, Sara Linette Bellomy, Craig Bennett, Andrew Boldt, Latricia Brown, William Burnette, Battle Burnette, Ronnie Carter, Alexis Cox, Shannon Cox, William Daly, Olivia de Araujo, Maria Diaz-Ponce, Madeline Elam, Zach Fink, Javier Gonzalez, Mitchell Hardy, Amy Jordan, Erica Kerner, Lisa Ann Lamm, Will Langdon, Andrew Lockerby, Benjamin Massey, Jonathan McDonald, Siria Mendoza, Rachel Montesinos, Teresa Moon, Elizabeth Murray, Wyatt Ocker, Chelsea Olson, Breanna Rios, Joni Robinson, Dwayne Skinner, Gabriela Sorto, Logan Tyndall, Charles Visnosky, Victoria Wiggins, Quincy Williams and Richard Warren Woodard.
