Witnesses described a gunfight between two vehicles when Goldsboro police responded to a shots fired call in the area of Clingman Street and Stronach Avenue at about 6 p.m. Friday, according to the police report.
At least one person was injured.
According to the report, Cornelius Donnell Weeks, 27, of Goldsboro, showed up at Wayne Memorial Hospital with injuries after the shooting.
Investigators were sent to the 1400 block of Humphrey Street -- just blocks from the area where the shots were first reported -- and found Weeks' gold 1997 Buick LeSabre damaged with bullet holes and shattered windows, the report said.
Four other men listed as victims on the report escaped uninjured. No description of the suspects or of the second vehicle were listed on the report.
