Senior living centers merge

Brookdale at Country Day Road held a ribbon cutting on Thursday afternoon to celebrate a merger between Brookdale and Emeritus senior living homes that occurred in August 2014. At front center, the facility's longest staying resident, Louise Dunmyer, assists in cutting the ribbon to mark the official grand opening of Brookdale. Elizabeth Coles, the mother of Brookdale's executive director, Michael Coles, pictured at far left, said, "I am extremely proud of my son and what he has accomplished, as well as how much compassion he has for others." Coles' grandmother lives at the facility.
