Rabies clinics to be held in April

Rabies vaccination clinics will be sponsored by the Wayne County on the dates and at the locations listed below. The cost will be $ 10 per dog or cat.
The owner of every dog and cat over four months of age is required to have the animal vaccinated against rabies. Any animal receiving its first of rabies vaccine must receive another dose one year later and every three years thereafter.
Proof of prior rabies vaccinations is required for the animal to receive a three-year vaccination. If proof is not provided, a one-year vaccination will be provided.
* Saturday, April 11: Eastern Wayne High School, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Southern Wayne High School, Dudley, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
* Saturday, April, 25: Grantham School, Grantham, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.; old Pikeville school building, Pikeville, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
