Blessed2BlessU Ministries will sponsor its 3rd Annual 5K "Run. Educate. Hope." on April 25.
The money raised from this fun run will go directly towards the second building of the ministries' Tumaini "Hope" Primary School in Kiruani, Tanzania, Africa.
Last year's event the money to complete the first building.
The first run in 2013 raised funds to drill a well in Kiruani.
"Run. Educate. Hope." will be held in the St. Paul UMC parking lot at 204 E Chestnut St.
Registration, door prizes, silent auction, and beach trip raffle will begin at 8 a.m. and the race will begin at 9. Everyone, including walkers and bicyclers, are welcome to take part.
The pre-registration fee is due by April 10 and is $25. Race day registration fee is $30. The fee includes a t-shirt, snacks and drinks, and one entry for the beach trip raffle.
Sponsors also are being sought for the event. $50 gets your business name on a display board at the 5K. $150 gets your business name on a display board at the 5K and your business logo on an individual display board at the 5K. $250 gets your business name on a display board at the 5K, your business name on an individual display board at the 5K, your business name on the back of the 5K t-shirt and one 5K t-shirt.
