More than 10 motor vehicle break-ins have been reported to the Goldsboro Police Department since Thursday.
Four break-ins were reported Monday, all of which took place in the 100 block of Fallin Boulevard. On Sunday, two break-ins were reported along East Ash Street, and three were reported after March 27 -- two in the area of Windsor Creek Parkway and another on West Mulberry Street.
The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating and believes some of the break-ins are related.
"We believe the ones on Fallin Boulevard were perpetrated by the same individual and the ones on Ash Street were done by the same suspect there, but it's unknown at this time if both areas were perpetrated by the same suspect," Capt. Dwayne Dean said.
In many of the incidents, the passenger or driver's side windows of the vehicles were smashed.
The Goldsboro Police Department has in the past advised citizens to lock their valuables in the trunks of their cars and always lock their doors when the vehicle will be left unattended, even for a few minutes.
