Disability Walk set for May 6

The 19th Annual Hal Plonk Disability Awareness Walk, sponsored by the Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities, will be held Wednesday, May 6, starting with registration at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 202 E. Chestnut St., at 9:30 a.m.
The five-block walk will begin at 10 a.m. The Eastern Wayne High School Band will perform, and there will be refreshments, balloons and face-painting.
