A Mount Olive man found hiding in a 40-yard container at the Wayne County Landfill Friday is charged with first-degree trespassing, a sheriff's office press release said.
Justin Paris Best, 29, 716 NE Church Road, was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $500 secured bond.
According to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office press release, Deputy Jeff Sparrow, the county's solid waste enforcement officer, called for assistance after noticing Best cross the fence at the main landfill after 2 a.m. Friday.
Patrol deputies with the sheriff's office C-Shift responded and located Best hiding in a container on the site. He was taken into custody without incident.
