Chamber of Commerce announces new app

In an effort to provide more value to its members while increasing service to the community, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce has announced "'MyChamberApp," a smart phone application that highlights members, helps prospects find you and makes it easier for you to patronize your fellow members, all while being connected.
And it is free.
The chamber provides opportunities for face to face -- connections with business partners, collaborators and business opportunities all throughout the year-- and now it is able to take it one step further. Time and time again, studies show that people much prefer to do business with chamber members. In 2014, the Chamber's website had 75,892 page views. Three in five consumers use their smartphone to search for local businesses. This new application makes it easier for them to do so.
The App includes a searchable membership directory, including links to your company information, website and a map to your location. You can view chamber events and add them to your calendar on the spot It's just a click of a button to find the latest, hottest deals in town.
Free Download in the App Store for iPhone users and in the Google Play Store for Android.
Just go to your App store and search for "MyChamberApp." Use the search button to find your company's listing to make sure the information is correct. Send any corrections to:charityj@waynecountychamber.com
Take a few moments to review your information and access your Chamber member portal page to make changes. To add or change categories contact the Chamber office 919-734-2241.
Chamber officials urge members to review and update the representatives for their company, contact information and keywords. The keyword search is how people will find you if they don't know the name of your business. This keyword search is unlimited.
