Robbery assault at Sids

The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating a report of a robbery and assault that allegedly took place at a local strip club Thursday.
The robbery took place at Sid's Show Girls, 1931 N. William St., the report said.
According to the report, Vicente Lara, 37, of Creekwood Road, was beaten and robbed of $1,500 in cash between 11:20 and 11:30 p.m.
Three unknown black men took Lara's wallet, cash and cell phone, totaling $1,930 in stolen property, the report said.
No description of the suspects is listed on the report, but a bouncer is said to have witnessed the incident.
Lara reported the robbery at 4:45 p.m. the next day.
The investigation is ongoing.
