Offices closed for holiday

Most local government offices will be closed Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
And state and federal offices, post offices and banks will be closed, too.
All Wayne County offices will be closed, including the landfill and convenience sites.
Wayne County Public Schools will be closed Monday for the holiday -- Tuesday and Wednesday are teacher workdays for most schools. However, Tuesday and Wednesday are regular class days for Wayne School of Engineering and Wayne Early/Middle College High students.
Goldsboro city offices and the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp. will be closed for the holiday.
City refuse and recycle services scheduled for Monday will be serviced on Wednesday.
Mount Olive town offices and the recyclables center will be closed, too and will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
Household garbage pickup will not be effected. Yard waste pickup will be delayed by one day. Monday's pickup will be on Tuesday and Tuesday's pickup will be on Wednesday.
Fremont town offices will be closed. Garbage pickup will be on Tuesday, recyclables on Thursday
Pikeville and Walnut Creek town offices will be open.
Carolina Southern Sanitation will observe a normal schedule on Monday.
