On Monday, Jan. 5 at approximately 3:15 a.m. an unknown, white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt broke into the Pizza Inn, located at 110 S. Goldsboro St. in Pikeville, and stole a safe containing currency.
The Pikeville Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Department joined into the investigation of this incident and they are seeking any information on the individuals responsible for this crime.
