On Tuesday, Dec. 9, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Goldsboro Police Department responded to 102 E. Elm St. Once on scene, officers discovered 65-year-old William Andrew Alston at the residence with multiple gunshot wounds, which later resulted in his death. Goldsboro investigators responded to the incident and this investigation is ongoing.
