Wells Fargo robbed

A lone gunman opened fire inside the Wells Fargo at 605 N. Berkeley Blvd. at 2:45 p.m. today during an armed robbery. Witnesses inside the bank at the time of the robbery said the subject, a black male about 6 feet 2 inches tall, fired one shot into the ceiling. No one was injured. The robber took an undisclosed amount of money. Investigators with the Goldsboro Police Department are working the scene now. The bank will remain closed until further notice.
