Veterans Day prompts list of local closings

Local, state and federal offices including banks and the Post Office will be closed Tuesday in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
All Wayne County government offices including the landfill and convenience sites will be closed. Wayne County Public Schools and Wayne Community College also will be closed.
Goldsboro City Hall will close for Veterans Day, and trash pickup will be moved to Wednesday, Nov. 12.
In Mount Olive, town offices will be closed including Public Works.
Eureka Town Hall will be closed.
Walnut Creek offices will not close for the holiday. The holiday does not affect Seven Springs Town Hall, which is only open Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Pikeville and Fremont town halls will remain open for the holiday, and trash pickup services will not be affected by the holiday.
Carolina Southern Sanitation will be closed Tuesday. Its customers will be serviced on Wednesday.
