Two homes hit by bullets

No one was reported injured in two separate incidents in which multiple gunshots were fired into two separate dwellings.
Ray Bell, 54, and Constance, Bell, 51, 718 N. Jackson St. at Park Court Apartments, told police that when they woke up Saturday morning they noticed holes where several gunshot rounds had entered their home.
There were four other people in the apartment at the time including three children who were sleeping near the front door, police said.
Damages totaled $580.
The second shooting happened at 700 N. Taylor St., Apt. A, which is managed by the Goldsboro Housing Authority.
There were five people in the house at the time of the shooting early Saturday morning.
Malinda McBride, 41, told police she was home with her family when someone starting shooting into the dwelling.
She said the family members ran when they heard the shots that hit the front door and a front window.
Damages totaled $500.
