Goldsboro Ballet will have a special Nutcracker tea party before its performance of "The Nutcracker" this year.
It will take place Nov. 15 at 2 and 3 p.m. at Coco Darlings. There will be tea and cookies.
Some of "The Nutcracker" dancers will be at the party to present parts of the ballet. They will also be available for photos with those attending.
Parents may accompany their children.
Tickets are two for $15 from the ballet school.
"We thought that the younger children may enjoy coming and getting a little flavor of the ballet before the full program in December," said Peggy Wingate, director of the ballet. "It would be a good introductory time for a young family to come in and have their children see up close some of the dancers before they actually see them on stage. And it will give the younger audience a chance to talk and visit with 'The Nutcracker' characters."
