Pet photos with Santa Nov. 22-23

Wayne County residents can have their photograph taken with their favorite pet and Santa this month.
The Wayne County Humane Society is holding its annual fundraiser Holiday Pet Photos Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus.
The cost is a $10 donation, which gets you a 4 by 6 framed photo on the spot. You'll also get the photo emailed to you so you can make cards or other items for your family and friends, said Humane Society president Suzi Wharton.
"We're using a holiday back of a Christmas tree with presents for the photographs," she said. "We are encouraging everyone to dress in their holiday outfits."
The photo can be of an individual with his or her pet or pets or a family with its pet or pets. And it can be taken with or without Santa.
"We've taken photos of dogs, cats, ferrets and even a snake one year," Ms. Wharton said.
