Willie Rouse and Linda Murphy serve bowls of fish stew during the annual Albertson Stew Fest held Saturday. Rouse has been cooking his special recipe stew for the Albertson Ruritan Club for 50 years. Each year, hundreds of people travel to the northern Duplin community to sample the seafood, meat and even banana pudding you can cook in a pot. Dennis Stevens said, "It's worth the ride down here to eat." He and his wife, Linda, have been coming to the event from Pikeville for the last four years.
