A Webb Town Taxi driver told Goldsboro police he was assaulted and robbed by two women last week.
Jerry Lofton, 65, said he was standing outside of the taxi service, located at 616 E. Elm St., at 6:30 p.m. when the women approached.
According to the police report, one of the women punched Lofton in his face and stole his wallet and cell phone. The women then fled on foot toward South Slocumb Street.
One of the women wore a shirt with a floral pattern. No other description was given other than they were two black females.
The wallet and cell phone are listed on the police report at a combined value of $110.
