Mayor's Committee luncheon to be held Oct. 16

The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disability will hold its annual Awards Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 16 at noon at the Herman Park Center.
The organization will present five awards: Employee of the Year, Employer of the Year, Committee Member of the Year, Most Accessible for the Business of the Year and the Mayor's Trophy.
Nomination forms and tickets, which cost $12, can be obtained at the City Community Affairs at 200 Center St. or by calling Sue Chance at 919-580-4380 or emailing her at schance@ci.goldsboro.nc.us.
Angel Wright-Lanier, the assistant Goldsboro city manager, will be the guest speaker.
