Owner catches suspects

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested two people after a homeowner confronted them outside his residence at 3 a.m. Sunday.
Brandon Lee Cannon, 22, and Marissa Dayne Cannon, 21, face charges of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny and possession of stolen goods, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office.
Both have been placed in the Wayne County Jail, each under a $2,500 secured bond.
The alleged incident took place at a residence along Howell Road.
Ac-cording to the release, the homeowner came home and saw a truck parked near his home. He confronted the female driver of the vehicle and the man took off into the woods.
Patrol deputies were able to locate the man, and later identified the suspects.
Deputies discovered property from a previous break-in in the same area inside the suspects' vehicle, resulting in the two being charged.
