Man shot in car Tuesday afternoon on LaGrange street

A Lenoir County man is dead and investigators are following up leads after a Tuesday afternoon shooting on South Wooten Street near Boundary Street in LaGrange.
Duane Lavoris Bright Jr., 21, died after two unknown subjects fired multiple shots into his Chevrolet Impala from a truck at 1:22 p.m., according to a Lenoir County Sheriff's Office press release.
According to the release, suspects have been identified but not charged.
No motive has been established for the crime, the release said.
