A Dudley man found himself being harassed by a group of four men in a park near Dupont Circle Tuesday, according to a Goldsboro police report.

He told Goldsboro police he was then beaten and robbed.

Elwood Ezekiel Minor, 50, of Oriole Drive, filed the report at the police department at 7:15 p.m. He told officers he had been near the basketball court on Dupont Circle when four black men approached him.

The men allegedly struck Minor with closed fists and took his money from him, the report said.

Among the items reported stolen were $150 in cash, a $200 Citizen watch and $500 worth of prescription pills.

Minor refused treatment from Wayne County EMS, although he did have a small bump on the left side of his head, the report said.

He gave vague descriptions of each of the four suspects -- height, hair color and estimated weight and build -- but no suspects' names were listed on the report.

He said he did not know the men who robbed him.
