As a result of search warrant executed at his residence, a Dudley man now faces charges of heroin trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Matthew William Hayden, 25, of 408 Hazlewood Drive, is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $65,000 secured bond on charges of trafficking heroin, maintaining a dwelling for the sale or use of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office press release, officers with the Goldsboro/Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force and the Sheriff's Aggressive Crime Enforcement Team served the warrant at Hayden's home Monday.
Inside the residence, investigators discovered an estimated 6 grams of heroin worth approximately $900.
Hayden was taken into custody and charged.
