Dudley man faces marijuana charges

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team, Aggressive Crime Enforcement Team and investigations division helped arrest a suspected marijuana dealer in the Dudley area Thursday.
George Randolph Sutton Jr., 807 Ruskin Road, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the use of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to a press release issued Friday, members of the Goldsboro/Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force received information Sutton was selling marijuana in and around the Dudley area.
A search warrant was secured and executed on Sutton's home, resulting in the seizure of several firearms and several ounces of marijuana.
Sutton has been placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in Wayne County District Court June 2.
