Teen holds up 17-year-old on city road

A Goldsboro teen is in the Wayne County Jail today after he allegedly robbed another teen.
Derejay Williams Speede, 17, 129 Mill Creek Court, is charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to a Goldsboro police report.
He is currently being held under a $100,000 secured bond.
Marvin Wooten, 17, of Powell Road, told police that Speede and another man approached him in the roadway near 3201 Central Heights Road at just before 1 a.m. April 18.
The two men allegedly robbed Wooten at gunpoint -- taking his shoes, a cell phone and $80 in cash.
The combined value of the items taken came to $260, according to the report.
Goldsboro police arrested Speede at the Irish Inn, 1104 Sunburst Drive, at 3:40 a.m. Sunday.
The other man who was allegedly involved in the incident was not identified in the report and has not yet been arrested.
