Lemmie Uzzell has been named Commercial Relationship Banker by VantageSouth Bank.
Uzzell, who served as market president for BB&T in northern Wayne County, has established strong partnerships in the agribusiness community over the years and he brings that experience and philosophy to VantageSouth Bank, the community bank of choice for many Agribusiness professionals in Eastern North Carolina.
VantageSouth Bank's footprint peppers the eastern North Carolina landscape, where farming is still a key business.
"VantageSouth is a growing community bank with a clear focus on clients and their banking needs", Uzzell said. "I look forward to continuing to serve Greene, Pitt and Wayne County, and provide support for the agribusiness industry."
In his new role, Uzzell will concentrate on providing farming professionals with the equipment, operating lines and deposits needed to run their businesses successfully, while simultaneously managing new and existing commercial banking clients.
"Lemmie has a sincere commitment to his clients," says Jim Rose, Eastern Regional President. "He is an exceptional banker with a solid skill set in commercial and agribusiness banking. We are very fortunate to have his leadership in eastern North Carolina."
Uzzell is a Greene County native who lives in Goldsboro with wife, Jenni, and their two children.
