WCC students inducted into honor society

Wayne Community College's Upsilon Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, has inducted 41 students into its membership in its spring 2014 ceremony.
Phi Theta Kappa members represent the top 10 percent of students enrolled in two-year schools. To be invited into the society, WCC students must show academic achievement with a minimum grade point average of 3.5. They must have completed at least 16 hours of associate degree course work and demonstrate good citizenship characteristics.
The new members include Janelle Barbour, Mark Barnett, Jacob Dawson, Bryanna Demeritt, Christopher Easom, Randy Gardner, Marissa Gilmour, Sean Gough, Joseph Greer,Samantha Grzybek, Daniel Gurganious, Danielle Gutierrez, Anna Hawley, Ashley Horne, Robert Hunt, Mary Hyslop, Robert Jennette, Sharon Johnson, Whitney Joyner, Brion Kennedy, Elizabeth Kennedy, Samuel Kornegay, Curtis Lewis, Shelby Livesay, Jannae Martin, Kyle Meyer, Alexis Mitchell, Norman Mitchell, Joshua Mooring, Tammy Moses, Sandy Olmsted, Morgan Powell, Jaclyn Robinson, Tara Rodriguez, Curtis Russell, Joleen Scheer, Jessica Smith, Stephanie Stroud, Chikita Thompson,Mary Thornton and Kristy Ware.
