Three Goldsboro men have been charged with drug trafficking of more than 400 grams of crack cocaine valued at about $500,000, local law enforcement officials say.
Anthony Velasquez, 35, 208-D Benton St., Michael Scott Pore, 35, 208-D Benton St., and John Paul Luttenberger, 41, 409 N. Cottonwood Drive, were all charged with trafficking cocaine by possession more than 400 grams.
They were all placed under $500,000 secured bonds.
The arrests were made Friday night following a lengthy investigation into cocaine trafficking in and around Wayne County. Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Squad conducted the investigation and handled the arrests.
Sheriff Larry Pierce Saturday evening said that additional information could not be released at this time because of continuing investigations.
"That is a good amount of cocaine that we took off the streets before it hit our county," Pierce said. "We are tickled to death, and I am very pleased with the results of the investigation."
