A Seven Springs woman has become the latest person to win a $100,000 prize in the N.C. Education Lottery's Diamond 7's game.
After state and federal taxes were withheld, Carmen O'Quinn received $69,201, state lottery officials said.
Ms. O'Quinn purchased the ticket at the La Tiendita on Outlaw's Bridge Road in the Albertson community.
One more $100,000 top prize remains to be claimed in the Diamond 7's game.
As of December 2013, the lottery has raised more than $3.19 billion to support education programs.
