Free WCC business seminars planned

The Wayne Business and Industry Center at Wayne Community College has announced its spring 2014 schedule of free seminars designed to prepare business owners and managers to meet the challenges facing small businesses.
The calendar includes:
*How to Write a Business Plan, Tuesday, Jan. 9, 6-9 p.m., Walnut 101
*Business Basics 101, Thursday, Jan. 16, 6-9 p.m., Walnut 101
*Small Business Cash Flow Management, Thursday, Jan. 23, 6-9 p.m., Walnut 101
*Should My Business Be Certified?, Thursday, Jan. 30, 4-6 p.m., Walnut 101
*Low Cost Marketing Ideas, Thursday, Feb. 6, 5:50-7:30 p.m., Walnut 101
*Introduction to Grant Writing, Tues., Feb. 11, 6-9 p.m., Walnut 101
*Small Business Marketing with Pinterest, Thurs., Feb. 20, 6-9 p.m., Walnut 104
*Appointment with an Accountant, 30-minutes sessions 2-7 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 27, Walnut 109
*Lean Thinking for Small Businesses: Managing Costs, Production and Employees, Thursday, April 10, 6-8 p.m, Walnut 104
*QuickBooks for Small Businesses, Wednesday, April 22, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Magnolia 220
