University visitation day Jan. 20

Troops from around Wayne County gathered for the annual cookie rally to kick off cookie season that started Saturday.

MOUNT OLIVE -- Potential students can experience campus life at the University of Mount Olive during Visitation Day on Monday, Jan. 20. Registration in the Lois K. Murphy Center begins at 9:15 a.m.

High school juniors and seniors and their parents are encouraged to see first-hand what the university has to offer. Prospective students will have the opportunity to tour classrooms, residence rooms, the dining area and other campus facilities. Students can also meet with professors and athletic coaches as well as speak to current students about campus life. Scholarship and financial aid information will also be made available. Lunch will be provided.
