Stevens appointed to water treatment board

Goldsboro City Manager Scott Stevens has been appointed by Gov., Pat McCrory to the state Water Treatment Facility Operators Certification Board
The board works to protect public health and conserve and protect the water resources of the state. It protects the public investment in water treatment facilities, provides for the classifying of public water treatment facilities and requires the examination of water treatment facility operators and the certification of their competency to supervise the operation of water treatment facilities.
Each term length is three years.
Stevens already serves on the board for the state Building Code Council.
