On Sunday, at 9 p.m., the Goldsboro Police Department responded to the Adams Mini Mart, located at 2000 N. William St. in response to a 911 call placed from an employee at the business.
Officers arrived and spoke to the employee who said a black man came into the business, got on top of the counter, pointed a gun at her and said, "Open the register or I will shoot you."
Once the register was open, the suspect fled the scene.
Further investigation revealed that there are potentially two suspects involved in this incident.
