Sponsors being sought for Wreaths Across America Day

Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization that is seeking to place a wreath on the grave of every service man or woman during the Christmas holidays, and it is seeking sponsors to help.
Evergreen Memorial Cemetery on U.S. 70 West is participating in the event, which will be held nationwide Dec. 14 at noon.
Wreath sponsorship is $15 per wreath, and people can sponsor as many as they desire.
All wreaths will be delivered directly to Evergreen Memorial Cemetery on Dec. 14 and will be placed on the final resting place of service men and women by volunteers.
Specific grave requests are encouraged and will be honored.
Sponsorships by credit card can be made by visiting www.waa. convio.net/goto/operation outreach. Locally, wreaths can be purchased by personal check made payable to Wreaths Across America TM and mailed to Emily Tucker at 204 Creekside Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
