Kinetic Minds recently received a $2,000 Youth Literacy grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation to support its literacy program.
The grant will be used to support interactive literacy lessons for elementary students.
Lessons are provided as part of Kinetic Minds' comprehensive after school enrichment program. Developed by licensed educators, the program provides a stimulating and nurturing environment for K-4 students.
"We are grateful for the confidence that the Dollar General Literacy Foundation has placed in our organization by supporting our literacy initiative," said Danice Henderson, Kinetic Minds director. "This grant will allow us to purchase technology that will impact nearly 200 individuals over the next year."
