A service Saturday at Waynesborough Park commemorated the 170th anniversary of First Baptist Church
of Goldsboro. The service was held in Bethany Friends Meeting House. First Baptist Church was organized at what is now Waynesborough Park in 1843. Activities continue today as the church continues celebrating its milestone.
