Pet owners recite a prayer during the Blessing of the Animals in the garden at St. Francis Episcopal Church Saturday. The Rev. Doug Culton blessed more than 20 pets during the ceremony, which is conducted every year at the beginning of autumn in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love for all creatures.
