Shaquwana Miranda Davis

A Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest of a Goldsboro woman Saturday, wanted on felony charges from two counties, the Goldsboro Police Department said.

Investigators from Wayne and Wilson counties charged 20-year-old Shaquwana Miranda Davis, of 507 Gulley St., with four counts of uttering a forged instrument and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense, according to a GPD press release.

Ms. Davis also had an outstanding warrant for arrest for failure to appear on charges of larceny and possession of stolen goods. She was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $12,500 secured bond.

The Wayne County charges stem from a report alleging forgery filed with the Goldsboro Police Department Feb. 6.

The Wilson Police Department investigated Ms. Davis for a related crime. Those charges will be prosecuted separately, investigators said.

Ms. Davis is scheduled to appear in Wayne County Superior Court Oct. 7 on the obtaining property by false pretense charges, and on Oct. 14 on the larceny and possession of stolen goods charges.
