Duplin Hall of Fame deadline coming up

Duplin County Hall of Fame board members are reminding the Duplin County community that Sept. 25 is the deadline for the submission of nominations for the hall of fame.
Each year, the Duplin County Hall of Fame honors the lifelong contributions of two Duplin County residents and inducts them into the Hall of Fame at its annual banquet at the Country Squire in Kenansville. The banquet will be held Nov. 7.
One living recipient and one deceased recipient will be chosen and honored for their contributions to the business, cultural, educational, or voluntary sectors of Duplin County.
Duplin County Hall of Fame board members are: Davis Brinson of Kenansville, Kimberly Quinn of Island Creek, Inga Flake of Faison, Doris Hatcher of Cypress Creek; Anne Stroud Taylor of Faison, Marilynn Hroza of Glisson, Marie Maready of Limestone, Claudius Morrisey of Warsaw, Eloise McMahan of Magnolia, Leah Fife of Albertson, Cynthia Price of Rose Hill; Geraldine Williams Tucker of Smith, Linda Grady of Wolfscrape and Reater Warrenof Rockfish.
