Truck stolen
Danny Ray Worley of Fremont reported a stolen piece of equipment to the Goldsboro Police Department Monday. A $60,000 1998 boom crane truck was removed from the property of Danis Industrial Supply Co., at 200 Fedelon Trail, according to the report. The unknown suspects cut a lock off the gate and removed the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
Vehicle break-ins
Two motor vehicle break-ins were reported to Goldsboro police Monday. The first occurred at 314 N. Kornegay St., where the vehicle belonging to 24-year-old Arsenio Sherod Boney was entered. a $500 Glock 9 mm was removed.
The second break-in happened at 403 N. Berkeley Blvd., in the parking lot of the Mayflower Seafood restaurant. Olinda Sanders Hamilton, 56, of 906 Guilford St., reported a black purse, iPad, camera and keys stolen from her vehicle. The value of the stolen property and damage to Ms. Hamilton's vehicle was reported at more than $1,400.
